SUBJECT OUTLINE & EXPECTATIONS
In the first class of the semester which was held in 23rd September 2024, I met Mr. Fauzi Yusoff for the first time. Mr. Fauzi introduced online portfolio to us and asked us to make one. He also told us to download Creative Cloud on our own device so we can access it and do our tasks anytime and anywhere. He explained that it is important to master Adobe Photoshop because it is the software that most designers use. He emphasize us to learn Adobe Photoshop independently by searching online through several platforms and not only wait for his lecture class. He also told us to make Pinterest DPI Board to save all of our references. He also gave us a task to complete in five days about choosing three designs from Pinterest and explain about the reason why do we like the designs. Lastly, Mr. Fauzi Yusoff gave us a brief about the next collage project which is going to be held the next Monday.
The same day in the evening, we also had online class through Google Meet. Mr. Fauzi Yusoff told us more about Photoshop. Here are the things that he taught us:

- Express your creativity: The more you discover its functions, the better you recognize your own capacities.
- Create graphic design: You can develop the format of a business card, poster, greeting card, and more.
- Restoration of old images: Utilizing Photoshop's healing brush, clone stamp, as well as patch tools worn pictures can be recovered.
- Integrate graphics with text artistically: Find out the ways to combine images with a message to produce the preferred impact.
- Make use of brushes: There are thousands of brushes and each of them supplies a special impact, which we need to try them by ourselves.
- Change photo color: To transform the feel and look of pictures.
- Rectify mistakes in photographs: To conceal the weak points to boost the aesthetic allure of the photos.

Experience
I felt excited to join the first class in Taylor's University because I am an overseas student and gratefully the lecturer, Mr. Fauzi Yusoff is such a nice person and he explained everything clearly which makes me easy to understand what he explained.
Observations
I observed that making blogspot is important, especially in the future it will be really useful for us when we are looking for jobs because we have all our tasks arrange neatly. Thankfully, the lecturer already prepared us for it. Not only that, I also realized that it is that important for designers and also for me, the future-designers to mastered Photoshop because it is a basic skill.
Findings
I found that I really need to practice more about Adobe apps because I haven't use them before and a way of learning Adobe apps is only by practicing on our own.
