PRACTICAL
Execution and Post Production (Week 12)
Here are the pictures I used to create the collage.
Next, I inserted the orchid images multiple times and used the Quick Selection Tool to select the parts I wanted to use, with each layer containing a different part of the orchid. I also renamed each orchid layer to make it easier for myself. Then, I arranged the orchid layers behind my photograph, also placing some on my shoulder and on my hair.
Figure 1.1: Original Images
First, I created a 1080 x 1920 px artwork in Photoshop. Then, I inserted a photograph of myself renamed the layer to 'My Photograph' as I knew I would be working with many layers and would get confused if I didn't name them. After that, I used the Quick Selection Tool to remove the background and select my image.
Figure 1.2: The Process (1)
In the original picture, my elbow was covered by a spoon, so I needed to fill in the missing part using the Pen Tool. I created a selection around the area, then went to Make: Selection > Edit > Content-Aware Fill.

Then, I adjusted the color balance for all the orchid layers.

Next, I added the background color and then added the other elements: the frame, butterfly, compact disc, and melody. I used the Quick Selection tool to select the parts I wanted to use, and then I arranged them.
