REFLECTIVE WRITING

In Project 1, I learned a lot of new tools in Adobe Photoshop, which this was my first time using the software. . I also learned to work with Layers, Adjustment Layers, and Layer Mask. These tools have helped me to create more complex designs. Before, I was unfamiliar with Photoshop but now I feel that I have gained a better understanding after just two months of learning. Even though I know that I still need to learn a lot, I can already see improvement in my skills.

Learning Photoshop has been a challenging experience, especially since I was completely new to design field and to Adobe software. At the beginning of the course, I was worried whether I could keep up with the pace of the lessons and tasks. However, Mr. Fauzi's lecture class has really helped me, his step-by-step guidance, along with demo videos and slide materials, provided clear explanations of the tools and techniques we were learning. Soon I realized that consistent practice and time management are really important. By completing the tasks as soon as they are given, I was be able to keep up with the tasks.

What I enjoyed about project 1a (physical and digital collages) was the chance to play around with composition and experiment new ideas. It was exciting to try out how different elements could come together and create a balanced design. On top of that, I find that finding references made the process easier and by doing this, it can establish new ideas in my mind. I also realized how helpful learning keyboard shortcuts in Photoshop is, as it made my editing much faster and more efficient. Overall, this project has really enhanced my skills and understanding in Adobe software.
