REFLECTION

Throughout this module, I had the opportunity to work on several exciting projects that pushed me beyond my comfort zone and helped me grow creatively.

In Project 1, I experienced dubbing for the first time by working on Everything Everywhere All at Once. Matching the intonation and timing with the original video was fun. It made me realize how vital sound is in the filmmaking process.

Project 2 involved shooting and editing a trailer, which was a completely new area for me. It taught me the importance of planning, time management, and effective task division within a team. I also learned that good design skills alone aren't enough, communication, collaboration, and teamwork are just as important. This project also introduced me to video editing, a skill I initially found unfamiliar but grew to enjoy.

For the Final Project, I used Adobe Premiere Pro. Although I had minimal prior experience, I was able to overcome the challenges thanks to his guidance and constructive feedback. Working with my teammate, Sacha, make me realize our teamwork helped bring the project to completion successfully.

Overall, these projects have been a valuable journey of learning and growth. I’ve gained technical skills, learned the importance of collaboration, and developed a deeper appreciation for the filmmaking process.
